At contain.r we love a good football/soccer match, and although we won’t pretend to be experts in the field of football shoes, we know something about brand experiences and productlaunches. We were very impressed with the way Nike Launched their newest model.
They turned the huge Battersea Power Station purple and showed how to take a product launch to the next level. We think the photo’s speak for themselves.

Digital Graffiti at the Olympic Village from Alex Beim on Vimeo.
Now showing at the Athlete’s Village in Vancouver. Digital Graffiti from Chairman Ting using a custom made interface by Tangible Interface. Made with openFrameworks, nice project showing the possibility’s in the field of interaction.

Check out this highly interactive game at: http://www.recordtripping.com/
Nice flash game, with great visuals and a fitting music. Half of the people here work with a tablet. But for this game it is essential you have a mouse with scroll wheel. De interaction you control with the scroll wheel is simple, but effective. Also the play on your perception is well worked out.
Ommwriter from Herraiz Soto on Vimeo.
We’ve just discovered Ommwriter. A new digital way of writing that attempts to bring back the concentration. Now some of us at contain.r have a bit of a problem to concentrate when necessary so this should help a bit.
What to they have to say: “Ommwriter is a humble attempt to recapture what technology has snatched away from us today: our capacity to concentrate.
Ommwriter is a simple text processor that firmly believes in making writing a pleasure once again, vindicating the close relationship between writer and paper. The more intimate the relation, the smoother the flow of inspiration.
If you are a scriptwriter, blogger, journalist, copywriter, poet or just someone who enjoys writing, welcome back to concentrating.”

Last week Peter Nitsch launched ASCIImeo. It’s a funny website which renders Vimeo videos in different textmodes. Although it is not that useful but it’s a ton of fun to explore. Give it a shot.
Micro Sculptor Willard Wigan creates works of art that are invisible to the naked eye. Working with shards of diamond on sculptures that fit into the eye of a needle he holds his breath and lowers his heartrate so he doesn’t make any movements that could destroy his work… now that’s what I call discipline!
